Register

You will have to be a registered user to buy and/or sell whiskies on the Pinaroch website. 

There is a once-off, non-refundable website registration fee of R100,00 to activate your account. This is to ensure that your registered card details are confirmed, and to avoid illegitimate users and bidding.

Step #2

"REGISTER YOUR LOTS"

You will simply go to the Register a Lot section in your account dashboard and enter the required details. You will also have the option to place a Reserve Price your Lots to ensure a minimum hammer price. An additional fee of R20 per lot will be charged to add a Reserve Price.

Immediately after registration you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

Step #3
get your bottles to us

Once you have successfully registered your bottles, we will assign lot numbers to each bottle, and start preparing the  individual lots.

You can get the bottles to us in one of two ways: Either by delivering it yourself to the designated drop-off point in Irene, Pretoria, or have DHL collect them for delivery to us.

Step #4
AUCTION

As soon as we receive your bottle(s) we will get to work in preparing them for auction. We will verify authenticity, capture professional photographs and add a detailed description about the specific bottle(s).

The bottle(s) will then be listed in the next available auction, depending on when the bottle(s) were received.

Step #5
LOT TRACKING

For total transparency, you'll be able to view and track the status of all your lots, at any given time, during any live auction.

And if you successfully sell a lot, you'll also get a detailed breakdown of that sale, the payment due to you, and the status of its payment.

Step #6
PAYMENT

At the end of the auction we will endeavour to pay the selling proceeds to you as soon as possible. This will normally be between 7-14 business days after the end of the auction as we need to be fair on both parties and ensure the buyer is satisfied with the delivery.

Payment will be made to you via Bank Transfer.
