Register

You will have to be a registered user to buy and/or sell whiskies on the Pinaroch website. 

There is a once-off, non-refundable website registration fee of R100,00 to activate your account. This is to ensure that your registered card details are confirmed, and to avoid illegitimate users and bidding.

SEARCH WHISKIES

Browse 100s of collectable and investment whiskies in our  online auctions.

Our auctions are hosted on a monthly basis, normally from the 20th of each month, and as registered user you will receive an email once an auction goes live.

Step #3
Bid

Bidding couldn’t be easier! Simply enter your maximum bid into the ‘Place Bid’ box.

Pinaroch will automatically increase the bid level of the lot incrementally until it reaches your maximum bid. We will alert you by e-mail if you have been out-bid.

Auctions end from 7pm on the end date. At the end of the auction we ensure that no-one is unfairly outbid by using 'anti-sniping' measures. This means that any bid placed in the last 5 minutes of the auction timer will extend the time on that lot by a further 5 minutes.

All your placed bids are visible from your account dashboard where you can check if your bids are winning, or if you have been outbid.

SECURE PAYMENT

If you have successfully won an item – congratulations!

We will alert you by e-mail and request that you follow a link to our payment page, in order to complete the purchase of the item and confirm your delivery requirements.

All payments are securely processed through PayFast, and thus all major credit / debit cards are accepted. Please note that we do not accept American Express (Amex).

Buyer’s commission of 8%, as well as shipping and optional insurance costs are added to the hammer price of all won Lots, and payable by the buyer within 3 business days of winning a Lot.

SHIPPING

Pinaroch Whisky Auctions has partnered with DHL couriers for all collections and deliveries nationwide.

During the checkout process your shipping and optional insurance costs will automatically be calculated and added to your invoice.

Preparation for shipping will be completed within 5 business days, and thereafter DHL deliveries will take 2-5 business days depending on your location.
