Globally, online whisky auctions are intrigal parts of the whisky market, and as collectors and investors ourselves, we wanted to bring that to the South African whisky community.

Whether you will be buying, selling or both, you will need to register on the website, and activate your account.

After that, everything has been made very clear and user-friendly in your account dashboard, where you'll have quick access to your favourites, bids you are winning and losing , registered bottles, your active lots and your sales.

The default opening bid on the platform will be R500.00. This means that it woudn't make sense to auction any bottle where the retail price is under or close to R500.00.

The main ideas of our platform is to connect buyers and sellers of higher-end, collectable and rare investment whiskies.

Yes, your bottles are as safe as they can be.

The safety of your bottles was the first and most important focus for us when starting Pinaroch.

Our storage facility is triple-access controlled and monitored. We also have relevant insurance for the unlikely event something does go wrong.

We offer the lowest fee structure vs anything in South Africa or globally. 

Normally, for buyers, commisions and admin fees can easily total between 12-21% of the hammer price on a whisky auction platform. Our total fee is only 8% of the hammer price.

Similarly, sellers also normally pay between 10-20% in commissions to 3rd parties helping them to sell their bottles. Again, our total fee is only 8% of the hammer price*.
